About Terry Lee

Terry Lee Savina earned his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2007. He completed his legal education in Pittsburgh and entered practice shortly afterward. Those formative years set the pattern for a career rooted in Pennsylvania courts and federal filings.

He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Over time he has built a practice that routinely engages both state and federal procedures. That dual admission allows him to respond to cases that move between trial courts and appellate review without interruption.

Much of his work takes place in courtrooms and courtrooms’ adjoining tasks: drafting pleadings, preparing records for appeal, and arguing motions. He handles matters that require careful attention to procedural detail as well as clarity in written advocacy. Where an appeal is likely, he prepares the record and the briefing with an eye toward the standards appellate judges apply.

Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in case preparation and steady under pressure. He combines courtroom experience with the written advocacy appellate work demands. Clients see that combination as useful when cases require both defense at trial and possible review on appeal. He has represented parties in matters that implicate state law as well as federal appellate questions that reach the Third Circuit.

Savina’s practice is based in Pennsylvania, and he operates from a main office in the state. He spends significant time researching precedent, meeting with clients to map litigation strategies, and coordinating with co-counsel. When matters head to the Third Circuit, he prepares briefs and oral argument materials directed at the court’s procedures and timing.

As of 2026 he concentrates his practice on litigation and appellate work in Pennsylvania and in proceedings before the Third Circuit.
