About Tammy

Tammy Wu built her academic foundation on the West Coast. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley and later received her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Her legal training in Southern California prepared her for practice in a region where entertainment and intellectual property issues are frequently front and center.

After law school, Wu joined Raines Feldman LLP as an associate. At the firm she works alongside attorneys who handle matters for clients in creative industries, and she has developed experience handling the kinds of legal questions that arise in those fields. Her role as an associate has involved day-to-day client work and the collaboration required in a firm setting.

Her memberships reflect the circles in which she practices. She is a member of the State Bar of California and belongs to the Beverly Hills Bar Association. She also holds membership in the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and the Entertainment and Intellectual Property Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Those affiliations provide regular opportunities for professional development, local networking and participation in section programming.

Colleagues describe her work style as practical and detail-oriented. She participates in matters that intersect with entertainment and intellectual property, and she contributes to the firm’s handling of client inquiries that require attention to rights, agreements and transactional detail. Her background from Berkeley and Loyola Law School contributes to a foundation for addressing legal questions that arise in business and creative contexts.

Her day-to-day practice at Raines Feldman LLP involves advising clients, preparing transactional documents and working through legal issues that affect creative projects and intellectual property assets. She collaborates with senior attorneys on more complex matters and manages elements of client engagement that are essential to moving matters forward.

Outside of client work, Wu remains involved in the Los Angeles legal community through her bar and association memberships. Those connections help her stay current on developments in entertainment and intellectual property law and provide a local professional network. She currently practices at Raines Feldman LLP, where her work centers on entertainment and intellectual property matters.
