About Andrew

Andrew Yun studied history and American studies at Claremont McKenna College before moving to Los Angeles for law school. He earned his juris doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Those academic choices shaped a practice built on attention to precedent and local procedure. They also anchored his early years in Southern California law.

After law school he entered private practice. Over time he assumed greater leadership responsibilities and now serves as managing partner of Yun Law Group. His role there involves both casework and the administrative duties that come with running a small firm. He handles filings, supervises associates, and sets internal procedures. He also represents clients in court when matters require litigation.

He is admitted to the State Bar of California and to practice before the Ninth Circuit. He maintains memberships in the State Bar of California, the Orange County Korean American Bar Association and the Los Angeles Korean American Bar Association. Those professional ties keep him connected to the local bench and bar. They also provide a forum for continuing legal education and peer exchanges.

Colleagues describe Yun as methodical in his preparation. He tends to break complex problems into approachable steps. He values clear pleadings and careful calendaring. Those habits inform how he manages files at Yun Law Group and how he mentors newer attorneys in the office. He has navigated matters that required both negotiation and courtroom advocacy, and he assigns resources according to the needs of each case.

Clients who work with Yun typically interact with him directly from intake through resolution. He oversees strategy discussions and remains involved in key motions and hearings. The firm’s size allows that hands-on approach, while the office systems aim to provide consistency in deadlines and client communication.

Outside of casework, he participates in bar association activities and local legal events. He attends panels, contributes to member discussions, and supports the networks that help younger lawyers find mentors. That involvement complements his daily practice.

He currently concentrates his practice at Yun Law Group, where he serves as managing partner.
