About Suzanne CM
Suzanne CM McDonough began her professional journey in health care before switching careers and entering the law. She trained as a nurse at Faulkner Hospital School of Nursing, continued her studies at Northeastern University, and later earned a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. That educational arc reflects both clinical experience and formal legal training.
McDonough spent the early years of her career at several Boston hospitals. She worked as a registered nurse at Boston City Hospital beginning in 1977, at Beth Israel Hospital in 1978, and at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in 1981. Those roles put her in fast-moving clinical settings. They also gave her first-hand exposure to the kinds of problems that later informed her legal work.
After completing law school she entered private practice. Her legal résumé lists a position at Lubin & Meyer in 1993. She later worked at The Law Office of David J. Hoey in 2010, and she joined The Keches Law Group, P.C. as a lawyer in 2012. The record shows steady movement through smaller firm environments and an established regional practice footprint.
McDonough is admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She is a current member of the New Hampshire Bar Association. That dual-jurisdiction status allows her to handle matters that touch both states and to advise clients who need counsel across state lines.
Her background in nursing is a notable element of her profile. Clinical work in acute-care hospitals provided an unusual foundation for a law practice. Those years in health care informed her understanding of medical and institutional systems and added practical perspective to legal issues that involve medical facts and hospital procedures.
Over more than three decades she has moved from bedside nursing to legal practice, accumulating practical and institutional knowledge along the way. Her career shows transitions between disciplines and between firms, rather than a single long tenure at one office. She maintains an active practice through The Keches Law Group, P.C. and handles matters arising in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
She currently concentrates her practice on representing clients in matters across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
