Stuart Michael Price is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1990 and holds bar number 150439. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Price is the founder and managing attorney of Price Law Group, a law firm located in Encino, California. He has been practicing law for over 35 years, serving clients throughout Southern California.
Mr. Price earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law, where he graduated in 1986. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Brandeis University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. During his time at UCLA, he was involved in various legal clinics and internships, gaining practical experience in consumer law and bankruptcy.
Mr. Price concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, consumer law, estate planning, and social security disability. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcies, debt relief, and creditor harassment. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Price has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. He has also appeared before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to founding Price Law Group, he worked as an associate attorney at a mid-size litigation firm in Los Angeles for five years.
Mr. Price is an active member of the California State Bar Association. He is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) and the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI). He has been recognized for his contributions to consumer law and has served as a speaker at various legal seminars and workshops. Mr. Price is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively.
