About Stewart

Stewart Eisenberg has spent more than four decades in the Pennsylvania legal community. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 1976 and earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1980. Those early years set the stage for a lengthy career in the courtroom and on professional boards.

He built his practice in Philadelphia and remains tied to the city’s legal institutions. He is a shareholder at Eisenberg, Rothweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg & Jeck, P.C., where he has been part of the firm’s leadership. Over the years he moved from associate work to firm management while maintaining an active trial docket.

Eisenberg’s professional associations reflect a heavy orientation toward trial work and peer organizations. He has served on the board of the Lawyers Information Exchange Group and on the board of the American Association for Justice. He holds membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Philadelphia Bar Foundation, and the Pennsylvania State Bar. Those ties have taken him beyond local practice into national discussions about litigation and trial procedure.

He has also taken on leadership roles in statewide and local bar organizations. He served as president of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice from 1998 to 1999. He later led the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association as its president from 2009 to 2010. Colleagues point to those terms as evidence of sustained engagement in bar governance and in coordinating education and policy efforts for trial lawyers.

In court, Eisenberg is best known to peers as a trial lawyer. He has tried cases before juries and judges across Pennsylvania. He is frequently involved in major civil litigation that requires courtroom advocacy and strategic case management. He also participates in continuing legal education and panel discussions through the organizations he serves.

Outside the courtroom, his work on boards and in bar groups has kept him visible in the legal community. He remains active in mentoring younger lawyers and in shaping programming for trial practitioners. He is based in Philadelphia and accepts cases through Eisenberg, Rothweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg & Jeck, P.C. He currently practices at the firm, handling trial work and major civil litigation matters.
