Steven R. Vartazarian is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2003. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Vartazarian is a founding principal attorney at The Vartazarian Law Firm, a full-service law firm located in Sherman Oaks, California. He has been practicing law for over 23 years, serving clients throughout the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area and surrounding counties in Southern California.
Mr. Vartazarian earned his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, graduating cum laude. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Oklahoma City University, also graduating cum laude. During his time at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, he was recognized for his academic achievements and commitment to the legal profession.
Mr. Vartazarian concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice and personal injury litigation. He represents individuals in matters involving birth injuries, medical misdiagnosis, pharmacy errors, surgical errors, animal and dog bites, brain injuries, car accidents, construction accidents, motorcycle accidents, premises liability, truck accidents, and wrongful death. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Vartazarian has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at Cheong, Denove, Rowell & Bennett, a Los Angeles-based personal injury firm.
Mr. Vartazarian is an active member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and serves on the Executive Board of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA). He is also a member of the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities (LATLC), the Brain Society of California, the Cowboy Lawyers Association, and the Armenian Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all California courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Mr. Vartazarian is fluent in both English and Armenian, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively.
