Steve Sumner Christensen is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of Utah. He was admitted to the Utah State Bar in 1992. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Christensen is the owner and lead attorney at Christensen Law, a law firm located in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has been practicing law for over thirty years, serving clients throughout the state of Utah.

Mr. Christensen earned his Juris Doctor degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, where he graduated in 1989. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese Language and Literature in 1986. During his time at BYU, he was involved in various academic and extracurricular activities, which contributed to his development as a legal professional.

Mr. Christensen concentrates his practice in the areas of family law, personal injury, and business law. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, personal injury claims, and business disputes. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout his career, Mr. Christensen has handled cases in the Utah State Courts, the United States District Court for the District of Utah, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He has also appeared before the Supreme Court of the United States. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at various law firms, gaining experience in different areas of law and developing a comprehensive understanding of the legal system.

Mr. Christensen is an active member of the Utah State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Utah Estate Planning Association. In addition to his professional affiliations, he is involved in community activities, including volunteering with local organizations and participating in outdoor pursuits such as skiing, road biking, and fly-fishing. He is fluent in English and Japanese, allowing him to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
