About Aaron
Aaron Nielson earned his J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2003. The law degree followed studies in legal and business subjects. He left law school prepared for courtroom work and municipal prosecution.
He began his career in public service. In 2003 he served as a prosecutor for Taylorsville City and for the City of Holiday. Two years later he worked as a prosecutor in the Utah County Lawyer's Office. Those early courtroom years gave him experience on both misdemeanor and felony dockets and exposure to municipal and county procedures.
Nielson moved into private practice in the latter half of the 2000s. In 2007 he joined Keith Barton & Associates as a lawyer. By 2009 he had opened the Law Office of Aaron Nielson. Over time his work expanded beyond trial prosecution into defense and consumer matters. He has handled cases that require negotiation with prosecutors and representation in contested hearings.
He maintains memberships in several professional organizations that reflect his practice areas. He belongs to the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He also holds membership in the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Those affiliations connect him to colleagues who practice across criminal defense and consumer bankruptcy work.
Nielson’s offices are listed under both InfiniTeam Legal Solutions, PLLC and Aaron Nielson Law. Through those firms he has represented clients in state courts across Utah and in matters tied to Washington jurisdictional issues. His background in municipal prosecution gives him a perspective on how local agencies operate. That perspective informs how he prepares cases for trial and for negotiation.
He balances litigation and client counseling. He prepares pleas when appropriate and advocates at hearings when cases proceed to trial. He also addresses consumer bankruptcy filings and related negotiations. He currently practices criminal defense and consumer bankruptcy law.
