About Steve
Steve Louis-Charles built a path to law that began in the classroom and moved quickly into practice. He earned a Bachelor of Science in political science from Barry University in 2000, followed by an MBA from Nova Southeastern University in 2003. He completed his legal studies at Appalachian School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2010.
After law school, Louis-Charles joined professional organizations that matched his interests in litigation and trial work. He became a member of the American Bar Association in 2010 and of The Florida Bar in 2012. Those memberships opened doors to federal court admissions. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Louis-Charles took on a leadership role at Charles Injury Law in 2014, when he became a managing partner and shareholder. That position placed him at the center of case strategy and client intake. Over time he has handled matters that require filings in Florida state courts as well as the federal district courts where he is admitted. He is also a Notary Public commissioned by the Florida Department of State.
Professional associations have been a steady part of his career. He joined the Dade County Bar Association in 2017 and has been listed as a member of the Florida Justice Association since 2022. Those memberships reflect ongoing participation in local and statewide bar activities and professional networks.
Clients and other lawyers describe Louis-Charles as someone who values preparation and clear communication. He has managed teams at his firm and overseen the litigation process from initial demand through trial preparation. His business training, from the MBA earned earlier in his career, informs how he runs operations at the firm and advises clients about the practical implications of a case.
He practices at Charles Injury Law, where he leads a team that handles injury claims and civil litigation across Florida. His courtroom admissions and bar memberships enable him to pursue cases in multiple federal districts and in state court. His current practice centers on personal injury and related civil litigation.
