About Pieter
Pieter Quackenbush began his path to the law after completing a bachelor’s degree at Florida International University and earning a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University. He moved from classroom study into courtroom preparation quickly, carrying a curriculum grounded in both legal theory and practical skills. Colleagues describe him as methodical in his preparation and precise in written work.
Admitted to practice in Florida in 2023, Quackenbush holds an active membership in The Florida Bar. Since entering the bar, he has also become involved in the legal community through several local and statewide groups. He is a current member of The American Inns of Court, the Broward Bar Young Lawyers Section, and the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association. Those memberships reflect an interest in courtroom procedure and peer mentorship.
In 2023 he joined the office of Anthony Quackenbush, Esq. as an associate. In that role he has handled tasks typical for litigation associates: case investigation, drafting motions and pleadings, legal research, and client interviews. He has also spent time preparing materials for hearings and trials, working under more senior attorneys and gaining hands-on experience in Broward County courtrooms.
Quackenbush’s training at Nova Southeastern gave him exposure to both civil and procedural law, and his early practice years have emphasized litigation skills. He has sought out opportunities to appear in court and to learn trial mechanics from experienced trial lawyers. Membership in the trial lawyers association has given him access to seminars and local trial practice resources, while participation in the Inns of Court connects him with mentorship and ethical discussions among judges and bench practitioners.
Peers note that Quackenbush balances steady work in the office with efforts to stay current on developments in Florida law. He attends continuing legal education programs and local bar events, which help him refine courtroom technique and keep up with procedural changes. Those activities also support his work on discovery strategy and motion practice.
He lives and practices in Florida and continues to build a litigation practice through hands-on work at his firm and involvement in the local legal community. He currently handles trial and litigation matters in Florida.
