About Steve Edward Jarmon
Steve Edward Jarmon Jr. earned a Bachelor of Science in Leadership from the University of Delaware in 2002 and completed his Juris Doctor at Widener University Delaware School of Law in 2005. Those academic years set the stage for a career that has moved between public service and private practice in Pennsylvania. The combination of an undergraduate leadership degree and a law degree shaped an early interest in courtroom work and client advocacy.
He began his legal career in public service as an Assistant District Lawyer at the Chester County District Lawyer’s Office in 2005. That role placed him daily in prosecution and courtroom responsibilities. In 2008 he entered private practice as an associate at Ciccarelli Law Offices, where he gained experience on the defense side and expanded his courtroom experience across a range of criminal matters.
In 2013 Jarmon launched Jarmon Legal LLC. As founder and owner he handled client matters directly and managed the business side of a small firm. The move to start his own practice gave him hands-on experience in trial preparation, case strategy and client counseling. It also coincided with growing ties to professional organizations focused on criminal defense issues.
Jarmon joined Lamb McErlane PC as a partner in 2019. His role at the firm places him among litigators handling criminal defense work in Pennsylvania courts. At Lamb McErlane he continues to handle litigation and represents clients in trial and appellate settings. The partner role followed more than a decade of both prosecutorial and defense experience.
Outside the office he is active in professional groups. He has been a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers since 2013 and has served on its Probation and Parole Reform Task Force since 2019. He is also a member of the Chester County Bar Association, a connection that dates to 2008. Those affiliations reflect ongoing involvement in criminal justice issues, particularly probation and parole policy and practice.
He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and maintains an active litigation practice. He currently practices in Pennsylvania and concentrates on criminal defense, including matters involving probation and parole.
