About Stephanie Thomas
Stephanie Thomas Kramer built a layered academic background before entering the law. She earned a B.A. in history and economics from the University of Dayton in 1999. She then completed her J.D. at Dickinson School of Law in 2002 and later added an MBA in business from Geneva College in 2008. The sequence of degrees reflects an interest in blending legal training with business and financial understanding.
After law school Kramer became active in the Pennsylvania legal community. She has been a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Beaver County Bar Association since 2002. Those early years established local connections that informed her work in probate, guardianship and elder-law issues.
Kramer joined The Elder Law Office of Olimpi & Kramer as a partner in 2013. That role followed years of practice and local involvement. In 2014 she served as solicitor to the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce, advising on municipal and organizational matters. She also took on a civic role in 2017 as campaign chairperson for the Committee to Elect Mitchell P. Shahen Judge, a position that required coordination, compliance work and community outreach.
Her nonprofit and fiduciary interests expanded in 2016 when she accepted a seat on the founding board of River Communities Fiduciary Services. That post placed her at the intersection of community services and fiduciary oversight. It complemented her legal practice and her certification credentials.
Kramer holds certification as a guardian from the National Guardianship Association. That credential aligns with the practical focus of her work: guardianship proceedings, estate planning, and advising fiduciaries. In the courtroom and at the counsel table she handles matters that often involve elder clients, family dynamics and long-term care issues. Her practice mixes litigation-readiness with transactional counseling.
Colleagues note that Kramer’s background in business and law helps on matters that require both legal analysis and financial clarity. She continues active membership in county and state bar groups, maintaining ties to the local bench and bar. She has combined private practice, nonprofit boards and civic activity into a steady practice path.
She now practices at The Elder Law Office of Olimpi & Kramer, handling elder law, guardianship and fiduciary work.
