Stacy Joel Safion is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1993 and holds bar number 167481. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Safion is the principal attorney at his own firm, Stacy Joel Safion, Esq., located in Laguna Niguel, California. He has been practicing law for over 32 years, serving clients throughout Orange County and the surrounding areas.
Mr. Safion earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Southern California College of Law in 1989. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Florida, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977. In 1983, he furthered his legal education by obtaining a certificate from the Attorney Assistant Training Program at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Mr. Safion concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate law, consumer protection, and collections. He represents clients in matters involving property sales, foreclosures, short sales, contract disputes, and creditor-debtor issues. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Safion has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Orange, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as a paralegal and law clerk at prominent law firms, including O'Melveny & Myers and Rutan & Tucker.
Mr. Safion is an active member of the Real Estate Section of the California State Bar. He is also a real estate broker and has formed his own real estate company, Stacy, Realtors. He holds memberships in the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, and the Orange County Association of Realtors. Additionally, he is a member of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Safion is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Orange County effectively.
