About Stacey

Stacey Bucci built a layered academic foundation before entering the law. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University in 1990 and later completed an M.A. at the University of St. Andrews in 1998, where her studies covered management, economics and international security. She then took an M.A. in Education from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 2002 and finished her legal training at Western New England University School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2009.

Her early professional life mixed education management and compliance work. From 2005 she served as executive director of Berkshire County Educational Associates, a role that put her in charge of program oversight and organizational administration. After law school she worked as an auditor and investigator for Global Compliance Services in 2009, handling reviews that required attention to regulatory detail and factual record-keeping.

Bucci moved into private practice in 2011 when she established Bucci Law. That year marked the start of her work as a lawyer in her own practice. Over time she has managed matters that required appearances in both state and federal courts. Her record shows admissions to the bars of Massachusetts and New York and to several federal forums, including the U.S. District Courts for the District of Massachusetts, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the First and Second Circuits.

Her background in audits and investigations informs how she approaches cases. She tends to build files methodically and looks for documentary threads that support a client’s position. In litigation she has worked across jurisdictions where procedural rules and evidentiary standards can vary widely, and she has briefed matters in appellate settings when cases have moved beyond the trial level.

Clients and colleagues describe her as exacting in preparation and pragmatic in courtroom strategy. She has combined administrative experience, investigative work and courtroom practice to handle matters that cross between compliance, disputes and regulatory questions. Her academic training in political science and international security gives her an analytical frame that she applies to complex factual scenarios.

She continues to practice from Bucci Law, appearing in state and federal courts where she is admitted and handling cases that require both investigative rigor and courtroom experience. She currently practices at Bucci Law, addressing matters in the state and federal jurisdictions where she is licensed.
