About Seth H.
Seth H. Yeager built a dual academic foundation before entering the courtroom. He completed a B.A. at the University of Pittsburgh, and in 2010 earned both an MBA and a J.D. from Widener University. That combination of business and law shaped the early years of his legal career and informed the types of matters he would take on.
He launched his professional practice in 2011 at Lyons, Doughty & Veldhuis. That time in private practice gave him day-to-day experience handling client matters and navigating procedural demands. His admissions include Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the District of Delaware. Those credentials reflect a practice that spans state and federal systems in the mid-Atlantic and Delaware corridors.
Colleagues describe Yeager as methodical and thorough. He has worked on cases that required attention to both legal and business details, a fit for someone who holds advanced degrees in each field. The combination of an MBA and a law degree means he approaches disputes and transactions with an eye for practical implications as well as statutory and case law considerations.
Throughout his career he has handled matters that involved multi-jurisdictional elements. His admissions to multiple state bars and to two federal district courts have enabled him to file pleadings and appear in courts across state lines. That breadth of licensing also supports collaboration with local counsel when cases cross different legal territories.
Yeager has kept a steady focus on courtroom procedure, filings and client counseling. He spent formative years at Lyons, Doughty & Veldhuis building litigation skills. Over time, he has balanced court work with advising clients on strategy and next steps beyond litigation. He values clear communication and practical advice that clients can act on.
Outside of casework, his academic background continues to inform his approach. The marriage of business training and legal education appears in the way he frames issues for clients and in the documents he prepares for courts. He aims for clarity in pleadings and pragmatism in negotiations.
He maintains an active practice across the jurisdictions where he is admitted and handles federal and state litigation matters in those courts.
