About Sergio G.
Sergio G. Chaidez followed a steady path into the law. He grew from an undergraduate in Long Beach to earning a J.D. at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco in 2013. The road between was marked by study in political science and international studies at California State University, Long Beach, where he completed his B.A. in 2008.
His legal education ended the classroom stage and began a practical one. After law school he entered private practice in California. By 2014 he was an associate attorney at The Fullman Firm, P.C., a role that placed him on client files and in courtrooms. Two years later he shifted roles at the same firm to serve as of counsel, a change that reflected expanded responsibilities and advisory work.
In 2016 Chaidez launched his own practice, taking the title of principal at Sergio G. Chaidez, Lawyer at Law. Starting a solo firm and keeping ties to a larger practice is a choice some lawyers make to balance direct client work and collaborative projects. In his early years as a principal he handled client intake, case preparation, and the everyday management tasks that accompany running a small law office.
His career has been rooted in California courts and professional organizations. He is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and has maintained that membership since 2015. That connection places him among local practitioners who exchange referrals, attend continuing legal education, and take part in community legal programs.
Colleagues describe the arc of his work as combining litigation experience from his time at a firm with the more general responsibilities of running a private practice. He has worked on client counseling, drafting pleadings and motions, and courtroom appearances. Those experiences informed the practice model he built as a principal, one that emphasizes hands-on legal work and direct client contact.
Chaidez remains based in California and has continued both private practice and advisory roles since 2016. He retains active ties to the local bar and to fellow practitioners through his of counsel role. He currently focuses on providing legal services to individuals and businesses across California.
