About Jenna
Jenna Rangel built a steady legal path through California schools and firms. She began her higher education at California State University, Chico, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business in 1998. She later completed a Paralegal Certificate at the University of California, San Diego in 2004 and finished law school at California Western School of Law with a Juris Doctor in 2007.
Her academic progression moved from business foundations to hands-on legal training. The paralegal certificate came three years before she graduated law school, giving her practical exposure to legal work during a formative period. The J.D. from California Western rounded out her formal legal education and prepared her for work in California courts.
Rangel entered private practice in the years after law school. She served as an associate lawyer at Barker Olmsted & Barnier, APLC beginning in 2011. There she undertook the day-to-day work typical for associates: case preparation, research, drafting, and appearing in court when appropriate. Three years later she advanced to a partnership role. In 2014 she joined Haeggquist & Eck, LLP as a partner, a position she has held since.
