About Aaron
Aaron Olsen built a legal path that moved steadily from law school newsrooms into firm leadership. He earned a B.A. in Business Finance from the University of Utah and then went on to receive his J.D. from California Western School of Law. While at California Western he served as Editor-in-Chief of the law school newspaper in 2006, an early sign of his interest in legal writing and editorial work.
He began his post-law-school career in 2008 as a law clerk at Lerach Coughlin Stoia Geller Rudman & Robbins. That role gave him exposure to complex case preparation and firm procedures. Later in 2008 he joined the Law Offices of Nicholas A. Boylan, APC as a lawyer, taking on client matters and courtroom tasks. By 2009 he had moved to Zeldes Haeggquist & Eck LLP as a senior associate, a position that expanded his responsibilities on litigation teams and case management.
Olsen’s rise continued in 2017 when he was named partner. Records show partner listings at both Haeggquist & Eck, LLP and Zeldes Haeggquist & Eck, LLP that year. The shift from associate to partner reflected years of steady firm work and increasing leadership inside the practice. Colleagues describe partners as handling both case work and firm administration; Olsen’s background suggests he navigated both sides of that role.
His early editorial duties at law school and his clerkship experience shaped how he approached legal issues: careful drafting, attention to detail and an interest in the written record. Those skills translated into the heavier caseloads and supervision responsibilities that come with partnership. Over time he has taken on matters that require coordination across teams and an ability to move files from intake through resolution.
Throughout his career Olsen has practiced in California. His resume lists both private firms and a notable clerkship, reflecting a mix of courtroom exposure and office-based litigation work. He holds a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in business finance from the University of Utah.
He is currently a partner at Zeldes Haeggquist & Eck, LLP and practices in California. His current practice focuses on the matters he handles as a partner at Zeldes Haeggquist & Eck, LLP in California.
