About Sean L.
Sean L. Moore began his academic path at Florida State University’s Panama City campus, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in 1974. He continued his studies at Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University and earned his Juris Doctor in 1977. Those years set the foundation for a long legal career centered in Florida.
After law school, Moore entered practice in a state where his admissions would allow him to handle matters in both state and federal courts. He is admitted to the Florida bar and holds admission to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Those admissions have shaped the contours of his courtroom and advisory work.
Moore’s practice has taken him into a variety of matters heard by state and federal judges. He has appeared on behalf of clients in district court proceedings and has handled litigation in Florida’s trial courts. The record of federal admissions indicates regular engagement with cases that require an understanding of federal procedure and the practical differences between state and federal practice.
Colleagues describe Moore as methodical in his preparation. He tends to favor clear pleadings and steady advocacy rather than theatrical performances. That approach has guided his interactions at counsel table and in court. Peers note that steady preparation often proves decisive in contested proceedings, and Moore’s work reflects that steady approach.
In addition to courtroom work, Moore has provided counsel to clients on matters that touch on both state and federal law. His ability to move between forums has permitted him to advise on jurisdictional issues, procedural strategy and litigation timing. He has worked on matters where state procedures governed core claims and where federal jurisdiction introduced different tactical questions.
Outside the courtroom, Moore’s legal training during the 1970s remains a touchstone. He attended law school during a period of notable change in legal practice and has adapted to shifts in procedure, technology and case law over the decades. That experience informs the way he evaluates contemporary problems and plans litigation.
Today Moore practices in Florida, representing clients in both state and federal courts across the state.
