About Sean E
Sean E Quinn pursued a traditional path into law, beginning his undergraduate studies at Franklin & Marshall College, where he earned a B.A. in History and Government in 1993. He took his legal degree at Dickinson School of Law, graduating with a J.D. in 1997. He later returned to formal study of advocacy, completing an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy at Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2002. The additional training underscored an early interest in courtroom practice.
His first court experience came as a law clerk to Judge Rosemarie Ruggiero Williams on the New Jersey Superior Court in 2000. That year in chambers introduced him to trial procedure and opinion drafting. He moved into private practice as an associate at Swartz Campbell in 2001 and then worked as a trial lawyer at Sheridan & Murray, LLC beginning in 2002. In 2013 he founded Quinn Law Group, LLC and has led the firm since then.
Quinn is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and he is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He maintains professional ties across the region. He has been a member of the American Association for Justice since 2002 and joined the Pennsylvania Association for Justice the following year. He has participated in the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association’s Future Leaders Committee since 2004, and he belongs to the New Jersey Association for Justice and the Philadelphia Bar Association, memberships he has held since 2006 and 2007, respectively.
His work centers on courtroom practice. The LL.M. in Trial Advocacy sits behind many of the trial strategies he uses. He has handled jury and bench trials and has taken cases into federal appellate briefing by virtue of his Third Circuit admission. The record shows sustained engagement in adversarial practice rather than transactional work. He prepares witnesses, argues motions, and manages the litigation lifecycle from filing to verdict.
Quinn lives professionally in Philadelphia, where his law firm operates an office. He founded Quinn Law Group, LLC in 2013 and continues to serve as a trial lawyer and firm principal. He currently practices at Quinn Law Group, LLC in the firm’s Philadelphia office, concentrating on trial work and civil litigation.
