About Scott
Scott Drusch earned his undergraduate degree in economics and political science from Texas Christian University in 2006. He followed that with a law degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, receiving his J.D. in 2010. Those academic years shaped an interest in the intersection of business and law. They also set the stage for a career that has moved between private practice and in-house work.
He began his legal career at Fowler, Schimberg & Flanagan, P.C., joining the firm after law school in 2010. Early on he gained practical courtroom experience and learned the rhythms of a busy law office. In 2013 he left private practice for an in-house role as general counsel at Inv3rt Marketing, LLC. The move offered a closer view of corporate operations and the legal demands of a marketing business.
In 2014 he returned to the firm setting as a lawyer at Gelman & Norberg, LLC. Those years broadened his exposure to civil matters and the practical side of advising clients through disputes and transactions. He has combined the perspectives of outside counsel and in-house lawyer. That combination informs how he assesses risk and prepares cases or contracts.
Drusch is admitted to practice in Colorado and is also authorized to appear before the Federal Circuit and the 10th Circuit. He maintains memberships in the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association. Those affiliations keep him connected to developments in state and federal practice and to other lawyers in the region.
Colleagues describe him as pragmatic and steady in the handling of legal tasks. He favors clear communication and practical solutions. He has experience shepherding matters through both state and federal procedures and has worked in environments that demand attention to business as well as legal detail.
He currently practices law in Colorado and accepts matters that arise in state and federal courts, drawing on experience gained in both law firm and corporate settings.
