About Christina
Christina Murray earned her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2020. She entered the legal profession at a time of rapid change in the courts and in legal practice, and she has built her work on the training she received during law school. Her education emphasized legal research, writing and advocacy skills that inform her day-to-day practice.
After graduating, Murray established herself in Colorado. She is licensed to practice law in the state and works out of Sequoia Legal. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing files and precise in written work. She balances courtroom preparation with the paperwork and client counseling that underlie most matters.
Murray’s approach is practical. She breaks complex questions into manageable parts. She explains options in plain language so clients can make informed choices. When a matter requires advocacy, she presents arguments carefully. When a negotiated resolution is an option, she pursues terms that reflect her clients’ priorities.
Her legal practice draws on the core skills emphasized at Sturm College: close reading of statutes and cases, attention to precedent, and structured legal writing. She also places weight on client communication. She aims to return calls and provide clear status updates, especially when deadlines or hearings approach. That steady communication is part of how she manages caseload and client expectations.
Murray has navigated both administrative proceedings and court-related work in Colorado. She prepares filings, appears where necessary, and manages the logistical aspects of litigation and administrative matters. At the same time, she stewards transactional tasks and pre-dispute counseling that can prevent legal problems from escalating.
Outside the office, Murray continues professional development through CLEs and local legal events. She keeps current on developments in Colorado law and adjusts practice strategies as rules and procedures evolve. She is counsel at Sequoia Legal and maintains an active practice serving clients across Colorado, where her current practice focuses on representing clients through both advocacy and advice.
