Scott Alan Miller is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California in 1997. He holds and maintains an active license status. Mr. Miller is a partner at Dillon Miller Ahuja & Boss, LLP, a law firm located in Carlsbad, California. He is authorized to practice in the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, in addition to all U.S. District Courts in California.
Mr. Miller earned his Juris Doctor degree magna cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1997, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1993.
His practice areas include business litigation and real estate law, focusing on landlord-tenant disputes, non-compete agreements, and trade secret matters. Mr. Miller represents clients through all stages of legal proceedings, including litigation, appeals, negotiations, and trials.
With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Miller has appeared before various courts, including the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of California, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. Tax Court. He has also represented clients in state courts across California.
Mr. Miller is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association, participating in the General Civil Litigation and Real Property Sections. He is also a Barrister in the American Inns of Court, serving in both the Louis M. Welsh and J. Clifford Wallace chapters. Additionally, he is a member of the Federal Bar Association and the ProVisors Del Mar Heights Group. Mr. Miller has contributed to the San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program and has served as a Volunteer Deputy District Attorney. He is also a mentor for TACA (Talk About Curing Autism).
