About Mr. Bobby
Mr. Bobby Kouretchian built a foundation in liberal arts and law before entering practice. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, with a minor in Sports Information Management, from the University of Southern California in 1993. He went on to receive a Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1998, where his studies included corporate law, business law, contracts, estate planning and trademarks.
His legal career began in firm settings. In 1996 he worked as a law clerk and lawyer at Blauvelt and Kouretchian LLP. He moved into a partner role in 1999 at KLG, PC, and in 2003 he opened the Law Offices of Bobby Kouretchian. That period gave him direct client experience and time running an independent practice.
Kouretchian spent time on project-based engagements and in larger firm environments in the mid-2000s. In 2006 he provided discovery consulting and took project-based assignments with firms including DLA Piper, Morrison Foerster, Coughling Stoia and Cooley LLP. The following year he joined Colorep, Inc. as in-house corporate counsel, a role that added corporate operations and transactional work to his background. In 2013 he became a partner and lawyer at Koza Law Group APC, a firm listed among his current offices.
He maintains professional affiliations tied to his practice areas. He is a member of the State Bar of California and is associated with its Section on Trusts and Estates since 2016. He has been a member of WealthCounsel since 2013, and he belonged to the Lawyer Search Network from 2013 until 2017. These memberships reflect the intersection of estate planning and business law in his work.
Kouretchian’s experience spans estate planning, corporate and business matters, contract drafting and review, and trademark-related issues. His project-based work included discovery and consulting roles for large firms, and his in-house position offered exposure to corporate compliance and transactional workflows. The mix of solo practice, firm partnerships and corporate counsel work has shaped a practical approach to client matters.
He currently practices at Koza Law Group APC. His present work centers on estate planning, corporate and business law, contract matters and related legal services.
