About Sarah

Sarah Ingles earned her Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in 2018 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at Ohio Wesleyan University in 2011. She finished law school in the late 2010s, an era that shaped a generation of new attorneys entering practice during a rapidly changing legal marketplace. Those academic years provided the foundation for a career that has been rooted in public and private practice environments.

Her legal training took place in Columbus-area institutions. Capital University Law School provided classroom instruction and opportunities to engage with local courts and practitioners. The sequence of her degrees—B.A. in 2011, J.D. in 2018—reflects a measured progression into the law. Since finishing her formal education, she has remained active in regional professional circles.

Ingles maintains memberships in several legal organizations. She is a member of the Columbus Bar Association and the Women Lawyers of Franklin County. She also belongs to the National Lawyers Guild. These affiliations place her among peers who meet regularly to discuss developments in state courts, professional practice, and access to justice issues. Through them she connects to colleagues across civil and criminal practice areas and stays informed about local bar initiatives.

She practices at Barkan Meizlish DeRose Wentz McInerney Peifer LLP in Columbus. At the firm she works alongside other attorneys handling a range of matters that arise in the city and the surrounding region. Her day-to-day work involves contributing to the firm’s caseload and participating in the firm’s collaborative approach to serving clients. Colleagues describe her as methodical and precise in written work, and she brings the background from Capital University Law School into firm practice.

Ingles’s career path reflects steady involvement in Columbus’s legal community since her graduation. She participates in bar activities and professional groups that intersect with both local courts and civic organizations. Her current practice at Barkan Meizlish DeRose Wentz McInerney Peifer LLP is centered on client representation and the management of matters handled by the firm.
