About Sarah
Sarah Haight built a steady legal foundation at Pennsylvania State University’s Dickinson School of Law, where she earned her J.D. in 2014. She completed her undergraduate work at Purdue University in 2011. Haight is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and Virginia and has navigated roles in public service, legislative counsel, and private practice since graduating law school.
Her first position out of law school was as an Assistant District Lawyer for Lancaster County in 2014. That role placed her in front of judges and juries early in her career. She handled arraignments, negotiated pleas and managed courtroom calendars while gaining practical trial experience. In 2015 she moved into family law as an associate at the Hofheimer Family Law Office, where she worked on custody, support and divorce matters and learned the procedural and client-relations skills that come with contested domestic cases.
Haight broadened her experience in 2018 when she served as a staff lawyer for the Oklahoma House of Representatives. There she shifted from litigating to advising lawmakers, researching statutory language and preparing memoranda on proposed legislation. The job added a policy dimension to her background and honed her legal writing in a different setting. She returned to private practice in 2021 as an associate at the Law Office of Afsana Chowdhury, PLC, where she handled a range of matters and further developed case management and client counseling abilities.
In 2023 Haight joined Livesay & Myers, P.C. as an associate. The firm promoted her to senior associate in 2024. In that role she has taken on increased responsibility for complex files, supervising discovery, drafting motions and appearing in court across the firm’s matters. Her day-to-day work mixes litigation tasks with client consultations and strategic planning for cases that span family and civil disputes.
Haight’s career runs through public prosecution, family law and legislative work, giving her a practical grasp of how different parts of the legal system interact. She brings courtroom experience, drafting skills and familiarity with statutory and regulatory questions to her cases. She currently practices at Livesay & Myers, P.C., where her work centers on litigation and client representation.
