About Sarah
Sarah Guidry built a steady path from Baton Rouge classrooms to a New Orleans law school and then into private practice. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Louisiana State University in 2017. She then attended Tulane University School of Law and received her J.D. in 2022.
After law school, Guidry joined Kean Miller LLP as a lawyer. At the firm she moved into the day-to-day work of a practicing attorney, handling research, drafting, and client counsel under Louisiana law. Her role at the firm places her in a collaborative environment where more senior attorneys and partners assign matters that require careful attention to state statutes and court precedents.
Guidry is licensed to practice in Louisiana and holds membership in the Louisiana State Bar Association beginning in 2023. That membership connects her to the state’s professional community and the continuing legal education opportunities available through the bar. It also situates her work within the scope of Louisiana legal practice, where local rules and civil law traditions shape arguments and outcomes differently than in other states.
Her legal training combined classroom study with practical skill-building. At Tulane she completed a three-year J.D. program that emphasized doctrinal courses and exposure to litigation fundamentals. Her undergraduate background in sociology gives her an additional perspective on client issues and community dynamics. She has used those perspectives in preparing case materials, client communications, and courtroom filings.
Colleagues describe Guidry as attentive to detail in legal documents and deliberate in courtroom preparation. She typically takes on assignments that require close statutory reading and methodical case development. On any given day she may be researching a statute, preparing a brief, or supporting a trial team.
She continues to practice at Kean Miller LLP in Louisiana. Her current practice concentrates on matters governed by Louisiana law and on serving the firm’s clients through legal research, drafting, and representation in state proceedings.
