About Sarah C.
Sarah C. Collins graduated from the University of Michigan in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree that combined public policy, German and environmental studies. She earned her J.D. from George Mason University School of Law in 2013 and began her legal career the same year in the Prince William County Circuit Court as a law clerk.
Her time on the bench gave Collins an early look at how cases move through the court system. She worked closely with judges and court staff, observing hearings and assisting with research and opinion drafting. Those responsibilities sharpened her understanding of courtroom procedure and case management.
After her clerkship she moved into private practice. In 2015 she joined Maureen A. Kersey, PLLC as an associate lawyer. The following year she took an associate position with Livesay & Myers, P.C. In 2017 she became part of The Manassas Law Group, PC as an associate and, two years later, was elevated to partner. Across those roles she handled case preparation, client communication and litigation support for matters brought in Virginia courts.
Collins has been a member of the Virginia State Bar since 2013. She also holds active membership in the Prince William County Bar Association, joining that local bar in 2015. Her admissions and bar memberships reflect a practice centered on Virginia jurisdictions.
Colleagues describe her work as steady and pragmatic. She draws on courtroom experience from her clerkship and on years of client work at small and mid-size firms. She is accustomed to drafting pleadings, preparing witnesses and working through procedural issues that arise in state court matters. Her practice combines litigation tasks with direct client counseling.
She serves as a partner at The Manassas Law Group, PC. There she continues to represent clients in Virginia state courts and manage a caseload that reflects her experience in court procedure and client representation. Her current practice focuses on representing clients in matters before Virginia courts.
