About Sara
Sara Memari completed her undergraduate studies at California State University, Northridge, earning a B.A. in 2015. She stayed in Southern California for law school and received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2019. Those years of study were paired with early practical work that shaped her entry into the profession.
Her legal training began while she was still a student. In 2014 she interned at the United States Department of Commerce. She later served as a law clerk at the Law Office of Richard Albert in 2016. In 2018 she added several clinic and clerkship experiences to her resume: she worked with Southwestern Law School’s Children’s Rights Clinic, taught as a student teacher in the Street Law Clinic, and held positions at the Los Angeles District Lawyer’s Office. These roles offered exposure to both courtroom procedure and client-facing responsibilities.
After earning her law degree, Memari continued to build courtroom and office experience. In 2020 she worked at H Bui Law Office, a position that followed her array of clerkships and clinic work. Those early professional years gave her a broad view of practice management, case preparation, and the demands of representation in California.
By 2024 she had joined Holstrom, Block, & Parke, APLC as a lawyer. The move placed her within a firm environment where she could apply the practical skills she developed during law school and her initial professional roles. Colleagues note that her background includes hands-on exposure to litigation support, client interviews, and legal research—tasks she performed in multiple settings from clinics to small law offices.
Memari is licensed to practice in California. Her path from student intern to practicing lawyer reflects steady progression through roles that emphasized practical legal work. She has balanced clinic-based learning with traditional clerkship and associate-level responsibilities.
She continues to work at Holstrom, Block, & Parke, APLC, where she handles matters on behalf of clients in California. Her current practice is centered at the firm’s offices, representing clients in matters brought in the state.
