About Lindsay

Lindsay Fonseca earned her undergraduate degree in pre-law from Missouri Southern State University in 2010. She went on to study law at Widener University Commonwealth Law School, completing a J.D. in 2012, and later attended American University Washington College of Law, where she finished another J.D. in 2014. Those academic years framed a fast-moving start to a legal career that has crossed state lines and practice settings.

Her earliest listed legal role was as an immigration lawyer in 2015 at NIW USA. That position placed her squarely in the detailed work of immigration filings and client intake. The following year she took an unusual detour into media as a court producer for TMZ. The shift gave her daily exposure to courtroom settings and the public side of legal proceedings. It is an uncommon combination: the procedural grind of immigration work paired with the pacing and deadlines of television production.

Fonseca returned to firm practice in 2019 as a lawyer at H Bui Law Office. She handled client matters there for several years before joining Holstrom, Block & Parke, APLC in 2023. Her resume shows steady movement between different kinds of legal environments: boutique practice, specialized immigration work, and a larger firm setting. Those moves suggest experience across intake, client counseling, and courtroom or administrative proceedings.

She is admitted to practice in California and Virginia. Since 2023 she has been a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Records also indicate an additional professional membership that dates to 2016 and continues to the present.

Colleagues and case files reflect a career built on practical tasks rather than on a single specialty label. Her background in immigration law remains a clear thread. At the same time, the firm roles she has taken involve broader client representation and procedural advocacy. The stint in media added an understanding of how legal events appear to the public and how those appearances can affect clients and hearings.

Fonseca now practices at Holstrom, Block & Parke, APLC. Her current work covers immigration matters alongside general civil representation for the firm’s clients.
