About Sandra

Sandra Loeb began her formal study of language and literature at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, earning a B.A. in English and American Literature in 1994. She stayed in Urbana to attend the University of Illinois College of Law, completing her J.D. in 1999. Her academic record shows a steady focus on communication and analysis, skills that have shaped her approach to practice.

Loeb entered legal practice in 1999 as an associate at Frederick & Hagle. She spent her early years there developing practical courtroom experience and learning the day-to-day tasks of client representation. That foundational period gave her a hands-on education in litigation and client counseling, and it prepared her for a move into firm leadership.

In 2008 she became a partner at Spiros Law, P.C. The promotion marked a transition from junior lawyer to a role with greater responsibility for case strategy and firm management. As a partner she has taken on oversight of casework, mentored younger attorneys, and participated in firm-level decisions. Her tenure at Spiros Law spans both trial work and transactional matters, and it anchors her reputation within the local bar communities.

Loeb is licensed to practice law in Illinois. She is active in several professional organizations: the Champaign County Bar Association, the Vermilion County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Eastern Illinois Women’s Lawyer Association. Those memberships reflect long-standing ties to central and eastern Illinois and a sustained presence in regional legal circles.

Her practice history combines courtroom exposure from her early years with the broader responsibilities of partnership. Clients have come to her for counseling on civil disputes and for representation where matters required formal litigation. She has also been involved in the strategic aspects of running a law firm, including supervising case teams and coordinating resources for complex files.

Colleagues describe Loeb as pragmatic and methodical in her work. She favors clear communication with clients and steady preparation for hearings and trials. Her background in English and American literature continues to influence how she structures arguments and prepares written submissions.

She continues to practice at Spiros Law, P.C., representing clients in matters across Illinois and handling both litigation and advisory work in the firm’s civil practice.
