About Sanaz Sarah
Sanaz Sarah Bereliani took a traditional route into law, combining a scientific undergraduate background with a law degree before entering practice. She earned a B.S. from the University of Southern California, then completed her J.D. at Whittier Law School. Those academic steps led to judicial and clerking roles that shaped an early interest in employment and bankruptcy matters.
After law school she spent time as a judicial law clerk for a judge at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. That stint gave her firsthand experience in administrative procedure and case drafting. Shortly afterward she served as a law clerk at Pacifica International Law Group, LLP, where she assisted on litigation matters and legal research.
Her early firm work included a position at Price Law Group in Los Angeles in 2008. She moved on to Nader Law Office in 2010. Each post added courtroom exposure and client work. In 2012 she opened Bereliani Law Office. She has been the owner of that practice since then, overseeing case strategy and firm operations.
Bereliani holds certification as a Bankruptcy Specialist from the State Bar of California. That credential signals a significant investment of time into bankruptcy law and related procedure. She is admitted to practice in California and regularly appears in all Superior and Federal courts across the state. The list of federal venues where she has practiced includes the Southern, Central, Northern and Eastern Districts of California.
Her professional memberships are broad and reflect both local and national connections. She belongs to the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association. She is also a member of the Central District Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Her affiliations extend to the American Bar Association, the Iranian American Bar Association and the Iranian American Lawyers Association, as well as the State Bar of California.
Colleagues describe Bereliani as methodical in court filings and careful in client counseling.
