About Shab David

Shab David Kerendian studied law at California Western School of Law. He entered practice in California and built a career that has spanned litigation and trust and estate matters. His legal education set a foundation for courtroom work and for advising clients on complex estate issues.

Early in his professional life he took leadership roles within his firm. In 1996 he served as President of Kerendian & Associates. That year marked a visible moment in his practice, handling management responsibilities while remaining involved in client matters. Colleagues from that period recall a hands-on approach to both administrative duties and casework.

Kerendian has maintained an active relationship with the State Bar of California. He holds membership in the Litigation section and in the Trusts & Estates section. Those affiliations have kept him engaged with ongoing developments in both fields and provided a forum for continuing legal education and peer discussion.

Over the years his work has mixed courtroom appearances and advisory work. He has represented clients in contested matters as well as in the drafting and administration of estate plans. The scope of his practice has required attention to procedural detail and to the drafting of documents that withstand scrutiny during probate and trust administration.

Within the firm environment he has balanced client advocacy with practice management. Serving as a firm president meant overseeing daily operations, assigning work, and mentoring less experienced attorneys. That administrative experience has informed how he approaches client intake, staffing of matters, and the allocation of resources for longer-running cases.

Outside the courtroom he has focused on practical problem-solving. Clients have looked to him for clear explanations of options and for step-by-step planning when estates are at issue. In litigation matters he has emphasized preparation and the careful presentation of evidence. Those preferences reflect a practice shaped by both trial work and estate administration.

He continues to practice at Kerendian & Associates, Inc., representing clients in matters arising from civil litigation and from trusts and estates work. His current practice concentrates on litigation and trust and estate matters.
