About Samantha C.
Samantha C. Riggi trained in upstate New York. She earned a B.A. from Siena College and then went on to Syracuse University College of Law. Those years set the foundation for courtroom work and written advocacy. She carried that training into a practice that includes both state and federal litigation.
Riggi joined Bottar Law, PLLC in 2015 as a lawyer. Early on she worked on motion practice, discovery, and case preparation. The role required frequent appearances in local courts and coordination with clients, experts, and opposing counsel. Over time she took on greater responsibilities in trial readiness and courtroom strategy.
Her admissions include the New York bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. That combination allows her to handle matters that cross state and federal lines. It also means she regularly files briefs and appears in hearings across central New York and the surrounding region.
Outside of casework she is active in several bar organizations. She holds membership in the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers and in the New York State Bar Association. Locally she is a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association and the Central New York Women’s Bar Association. Those affiliations have given her a steady channel for continuing education, collegial exchange, and courtroom-focused programming.
Colleagues describe her work as methodical and litigation-oriented. Her docket reflects steady trial preparation and courtroom practice rather than transactional matters. She spends significant time on evidence development, witness preparation, and drafting dispositive motions. Her practice requires balancing trial calendars with client communication and case management.
At Bottar Law, PLLC she handles litigation matters that proceed in both state and federal venues. She manages discovery and pretrial strategy, and she represents clients at hearings and trials when cases demand it. Her current practice focuses on civil litigation and trial work at Bottar Law, PLLC.
