About Sam D.
Sam D. Bone built his legal foundation in Alabama. He earned his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law, finishing in 2013. Before that he studied at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, where he completed undergraduate work in business management.
Bone moved into practice soon after law school. Early in his career he joined a small, family-styled firm listed as Dani V. Bone & Sam D. Bone Lawyers at Law. That arrangement put him in daily contact with trial work and client counseling. He has been active in the Alabama bar since 2013 and added membership in the National Trial Lawyers in 2015. Locally, he has taken on a leadership role as secretary of the Etowah County Bar Association since 2016.
Courtroom work has been an important part of Bone’s professional life. He has handled matters that require preparation for trial and the kinds of hearings that test a lawyer’s command of procedure and evidence. Colleagues describe him as the sort of advocate who values clarity in the record and steady pacing in examinations. Outside the courthouse he spends time on case strategy and client updates, work that often determines whether disputes are resolved early or proceed further.
Community involvement appears regularly on his calendar. Bone has been active in Kiwanis since 2016 and has stayed involved in local civic programming. That local presence often shapes how he approaches client relationships. He tends to frame legal issues in practical terms and to set expectations plainly at the outset. Professional organizations have been part of his routine since he started practicing law.
He is licensed in both Alabama and Georgia, which affects the geographic range of his practice. That dual jurisdictional status allows him to handle matters that cross state lines or involve parties in both states. His courtroom work, bar leadership and civic activity combine to form a practice that is courtroom-ready and community-attuned.
Over the past decade Bone has remained at the firm that bears his name while building ties to the legal institutions of the region. He continues to serve as secretary of the Etowah County Bar Association and remains active in state and national bar groups. His current practice focuses on litigation and trial work across Alabama and Georgia.
