About Ryan Scott

Ryan Scott Zavodnick earned his law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law, completing his J.D. in 2003. He holds an undergraduate degree in marketing from Pennsylvania State University, University Park. His academic path combined business study and legal training, which shaped the practical approach he brings to his case work.

He began his legal career at Naulty, Scaricamazza & McDevitt, LLC in 2003. That early period exposed him to civil litigation and courtroom procedure. In 2012 he moved to Zavodnick & Lasky Personal Injury Lawyers, where he has spent the bulk of his practice life. Over the years he has handled matters that progressed from initial investigations to settlement negotiations and trials.

Zavodnick is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. He holds memberships in the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, organizations that keep him engaged with developments in state procedure and trial practice. Those professional contacts also connect him to peers handling similar caseloads across the region.

His work concentrates on personal injury law. He represents clients who have suffered harm in motor vehicle collisions, slip-and-fall incidents, and other negligence cases. In the courtroom he has participated in jury trials and contested hearings. Outside the courtroom he manages the factual development of cases, including medical records review and coordinating with experts.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing files and practical in setting client expectations. Clients often encounter him early in a case, during intake and the initial fact-gathering phase, and he remains involved through resolution. He balances the detail work of discovery with the strategic choices that arise when cases head toward mediation or trial.

He continues to practice at Zavodnick & Lasky Personal Injury Lawyers. There he represents individuals in personal injury matters across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, handling both settlement negotiations and litigation when necessary.
