About Ryan
Ryan Pinkney began his legal path in Southern California classrooms. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Fullerton in 2012 and completed his Juris Doctor at Whittier Law School in 2016. Those academic years set the foundation for a career that has moved between in-house work and trial practice.
Right after law school he joined American Financial Network, Inc. as corporate counsel. In that role he worked inside a lending and financial-services environment, handling day-to-day legal needs for the company and gaining experience in transactional and regulatory matters. The in-house position gave him exposure to the operational side of legal work and to managing legal risk in a business setting.
In 2019 Pinkney shifted to private practice as an associate at Vanderpool Law Office. The move returned him to a litigation-focused environment. He spent that period expanding courtroom experience and working directly with clients on contested matters. The job bridged his corporate experience and trial practice, and it sharpened his skills in case preparation and client counseling.
He joined Jamal Injury Law P.C. in 2020 as a lawyer. At the firm he has handled personal injury matters, moving cases through investigation, negotiation and, when necessary, litigation. Colleagues and clients encounter a steady approach: careful case development, attention to factual detail, and preparation for hearings or trials. His work at the firm has kept him engaged in motions practice and settlement discussions, and it has continued his exposure to courtroom work.
Outside the office Pinkney maintains ties to several professional organizations in Orange County. He holds memberships in the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, the Orange County Bar Association and The Celtic Bar Association of Orange County. These memberships connect him to local practitioners and to continuing legal education programming.
He is licensed to practice law in California and has built a practice that spans both client-facing litigation and the procedural demands of trial work. He practices at Jamal Injury Law P.C., where he focuses on personal injury litigation.
