About Ryan L
Ryan L Hyde built a layered academic foundation before entering law. He earned a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arizona in 1997, followed by an MBA from the same university in 2001. He later completed a J.D. at Villanova University School of Law in 2008.
Before turning to law, Hyde spent several years in pharmaceutical sales and management. He began as a sales representative at Novartis in 1998. In 2001 he worked as an oncology sales specialist for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. By 2003 he was a territory manager for Cytogen Corporation. Those roles put him into frequent contact with clinical teams and regulatory frameworks.
Hyde’s legal experience began during and shortly after law school. In 2007 he served as a legal intern with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and took an externship at Pepper Hamilton LLP. That same year he worked at Fisher Zucker LLC. The following year he completed his J.D. and transitioned into public service.
In 2009 Hyde joined the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office as a deputy district attorney. He handled prosecutorial responsibilities there before shifting to defense work. By 2014 he was practicing as a trial lawyer focused on criminal defense. His courtroom work spans arraignments, hearings and jury trials.
Hyde maintains ties to several professional organizations. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Chester County Bar Association. He also belongs to the Montgomery County Bar Association and to groups that concentrate on criminal defense, including the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Those affiliations reflect ongoing engagement with peers and continuing legal education.
He now leads The Law Offices of Ryan L. Hyde. The practice handles criminal defense matters in Pennsylvania and emphasizes trial representation. Hyde’s background includes experience on both sides of criminal cases and several years in roles outside the law that required client-facing communication and regulatory awareness. His current practice concentrates on criminal defense and trial work at The Law Offices of Ryan L. Hyde.
