About Ruth
Ruth Jin combines a metropolitan legal background with an academic training at one of the country's law schools. She earned her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. The classroom and clinic work there shaped her approach to legal research and courtroom preparation.
After law school, Jin obtained admission to practice in New York and the District of Columbia. She maintains active memberships in several bar organizations, including the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association. Those memberships give her regular exposure to evolving rules, ethics opinions and continuing legal education.
Her career has included both courtroom work and advisory roles. Colleagues describe her as steady under pressure. Clients have relied on her for representation across matters that require careful attention to state and federal procedure. She practices in jurisdictions where federal and state claims often intersect, so her day-to-day work frequently involves multi-jurisdictional considerations.
Jin is based at The Jin Law Group. The firm serves individuals and organizations that seek counsel on matters in New York and the District of Columbia. At the firm she handles client intake, legal strategy and courtroom preparation. She also participates in continuing education and bar events through her associations, which keeps her current on practice developments and procedural trends.
Outside the courtroom, Jin contributes to the legal community by taking part in association meetings and seminars. She reads and writes on issues that affect practitioners across state lines. Her colleagues say she values clear communication with clients and practical solutions that align with each client’s goals. She currently practices at The Jin Law Group, representing individuals and organizations in legal matters across New York and the District of Columbia.
