About Russell E.
Russell E. Farbiarz built his legal foundation at Brandeis University, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and History in 2003, and at Roger Williams University School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2007. The combination of liberal arts and legal training shaped a practical approach to law. He left law school prepared for courtroom work and public service.
His early legal work came through a series of internships and clerkships. In 2005 he worked at the Rhode Island Department of Health. The following year he served as a legal intern at Wexler & Burkhart. After law school he was a law clerk for the Vermont Trial Court in 2007. Those placements exposed him to administrative, transactional and trial-side tasks.
In 2008 Farbiarz took a role in public prosecution as an Assistant District Lawyer in the Berks County District Lawyer's Office. There he handled day-to-day courtroom responsibilities and case preparation for the local prosecutor’s office. The experience offered sustained time in front of judges and juries and a chance to develop practical litigation skills.
The next year he entered private practice. In 2009 he began practicing at Antanvage Farbiarz PLLC. Over the years he has maintained admissions in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey, enabling him to represent clients across state lines and appear in the courts of those jurisdictions. His career reflects movement between public-sector work and private practice.
Outside the office he has remained active in local and professional organizations. He is a member of the Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce and has belonged to the Berks County Estate Planning Council since 2014. He joined the Rotary Club of Hamburg in 2009. He holds memberships in the New York State Bar Association, the Berks County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, each reflecting ties to the legal communities in which he practices.
Colleagues describe Farbiarz as methodical and straightforward in court filings and client meetings. He draws on courtroom experience gained as a clerk and prosecutor when preparing cases for trial and settlement. He also uses his background in government and community groups to handle matters that require coordination with local officials.
He continues to practice from Antanvage Farbiarz PLLC and is licensed in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. His current practice concentrates on representing clients in matters that require multi-jurisdictional representation and courtroom experience.
