About Ronald Robert
Ronald Robert Shepherd built his legal foundation across Idaho's campuses and courts. He completed a Bachelor of Science in political science at Boise State University in 1999. He went on to the University of Idaho College of Law and earned his Juris Doctor in 2002.
Those years shaped how he approaches the law. Coursework and clinics at law school exposed him to courtroom procedure and client counseling. The combination of a political science undergraduate degree and a law degree gave him a grounding in both policy and practice. He carried that perspective into private practice.
Shepherd launched R. Shepherd Law and has practiced through it. The firm bears his name and serves clients from its local office. Over time he has handled a range of matters common to small firm practice, advising individuals and businesses and appearing in state courts. He keeps a practical style in the office. He favors clear explanations and aims to help clients understand options and consequences.
He maintains active participation in professional circles. Shepherd holds current membership in bar and legal associations, attending meetings and continuing legal education as they arise. Colleagues describe him as steady in litigation settings and deliberate in transactional work, preferring careful preparation over theatrical gestures.
Outside the courtroom he has spent time mentoring newer lawyers and participating in community events tied to the legal profession. He has also focused on sharpening the administrative side of running a small practice: client intake systems, firm management and billing procedures. That attention to the business of law helps keep the practice responsive and organized.

He remains based in Idaho and continues to operate R. Shepherd Law, taking on matters for private clients and local businesses.
His current practice focuses on delivering general legal services to individuals and small enterprises through R. Shepherd Law.
