About Ron
Ron Polan earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1965. He studied at a time of change on campus and left law school ready for courtroom work. The degree set the course for a long career in Wisconsin law.
He is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and has spent the bulk of his professional life serving clients across the state. Over the decades he has worked in matters that required both courtroom advocacy and client counseling. His legal work has kept him engaged with the state’s courts and legal institutions.
Polan’s practice spans many of the day-to-day demands that attorneys meet for clients. He has handled litigation, prepared transactional documents, and advised individuals and businesses on legal questions. He has navigated procedural rules, case deadlines, and the practical demands of representing people before judges and administrative bodies.
Colleagues describe him as steady and thorough in his approach. He tends to favor clear legal analysis and careful preparation. He has seen the law change over time and adapted to new rules, new technologies in the courtroom, and evolving standards in legal practice. He has operated in a profession that often requires juggling deadlines, discovery, and client expectations.
Outside of direct client work, Polan has kept connections within Wisconsin’s legal community. He has worked with other lawyers on cases and has participated in professional settings where local practice and procedure are discussed. His long tenure in the state has given him familiarity with local judges, court clerks, and the ways cases move through Wisconsin’s system.
Now in practice in Wisconsin, Polan continues to represent clients and provide legal advice. His current work remains centered on client representation in state courts and on answering legal questions for individuals and organizations in the area.
