About Ron
Ron Brien has practiced law for more than four decades. He built his legal foundation in upstate New York and continued his training in Connecticut. Over the years he has maintained memberships in several local and state bar organizations, and he runs a private practice that handles matters on both sides of the border.
Brien began his academic journey at the State University of New York at Albany, where he earned a B.A. in political science in 1981 after beginning his undergraduate studies in 1977. He moved directly into law school and completed his J.D. at Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1984. After law school Brien established himself in practice across Connecticut and New York. His career has combined private practice management and courtroom work. Running the Law Office of Ronald J. Brien LLC, he has overseen case preparation, client counseling and the administrative tasks that come with a small firm. His work requires familiarity with both Connecticut and New York procedures and the ability to move between different court calendars, filing systems and local rules.
