About William P.

William P. Lalor earned his J.D. from The Pennsylvania State University School of Law in 1996. He moved quickly into private practice after law school. The early decision set the course for a career that alternated between firm roles and in-house litigation. Those formative years provided a base in both transactional settings and courtroom work.

He began his post-law school career as an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in 1999. That role exposed him to the intersection of business and legal issues. In 2005 he joined Mendes & Mount, LLP, where he advanced from associate to partner. The firm work broadened the scope of his litigation experience and his client work. In 2012 he took the title of Senior Litigation Lawyer at Elenius Frost & Walsh. Each position added layers of trial preparation, case management and courtroom practice to his résumé.

Lalor holds admission to the bars in Massachusetts, New York and Connecticut. He became a member of the Massachusetts Bar in 1999 and joined the New York bar in 2000. He later became a member of the Connecticut State Bar in 2017. Those admissions allow him to represent clients across multiple state courts. Over time he has balanced roles in firm settings with running his own practice. His background includes both defending and prosecuting claims in civil litigation contexts.

Today he practices from the Law Offices of William P. Lalor, Esq., maintaining offices in Wilton, Connecticut, and New York City. He manages a small office structure that handles matters in the three states where he is licensed. The office arrangement reflects his years in larger firms and his time as a senior litigation lawyer. He continues to accept matters in Massachusetts, New York and Connecticut and concentrates his practice on litigation and related civil matters across those jurisdictions.
