Robert Popescu is the founder of Popescu Law Group, a well-respected law firm located in Old Bridge, New Jersey. With over 30 years of legal experience, he has developed a robust practice that specializes in family law, business law, and intellectual property. Admitted to the New Jersey bar in 1995, Mr. Popescu later expanded his practice by gaining admission to the New York bar in 2002 and the District of Columbia bar in 1997. His extensive legal background is complemented by a Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, which he earned in 1995. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Popescu contributes to the education of future attorneys as an adjunct professor at Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey.
For over 14 years, he has taught litigation, imparting his knowledge and experience to students preparing for their own legal careers. His commitment to education reflects his belief in the importance of nurturing the next generation of legal professionals. Mr. Popescu is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Bar Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association. He is also affiliated with the Bar Associations of Monmouth and Middlesex Counties in New Jersey. His qualifications extend to federal courts, where he is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey, the Eastern District of New York, the Southern District of New York.
