About Robert Lee

Robert Lee Vogel earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law–Newark in 1997. He entered the legal profession at a time of shifting practice norms and has maintained a steady multi-jurisdictional presence ever since. His legal education in Newark provided a foundation in traditional doctrines and courtroom practice that he built on in the years that followed.

Soon after graduating, Vogel secured admission in multiple jurisdictions. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and Tennessee. He has also been admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Sixth and Eighth Circuits. Those credentials reflect a practice that spans state and federal forums and occasional appellate work.

Over the course of his career, Vogel has handled matters that required coordination across different courts and procedural settings. He is experienced in preparing appellate filings and in managing litigated matters that move between trial courts and higher courts. Colleagues and courts have encountered him in briefing and argument, and he has adapted his approach to suit the procedural posture of each case.

Vogel has also maintained a professional association membership since 2002. That long-standing affiliation has kept him plugged into continuing legal education and professional standards. He has used those opportunities to stay current on procedural developments and changing case law in the jurisdictions where he practices.

His work style combines careful legal writing and attention to procedural detail. He places value on clear briefing and practical case planning. Those priorities shape how he prepares matters for trial and for appeal, and they inform how he communicates with clients about legal strategy and potential outcomes.

Across state and federal venues, Vogel has built a practice characterized by steady courtroom work and appellate readiness. He often accepts matters that require cross-jurisdictional coordination and the ability to prepare materials for higher courts. He focuses his practice on representing clients in matters across the jurisdictions to which he is admitted.
