About Robert H.

Robert H. Collins has practiced law in Minnesota and before the Eighth Circuit for several decades. He joined Tennis and Collins, P.A. as a lawyer in 1994 and has maintained a steady presence in the state’s legal community since then. His career combines courtroom work, transactional matters and community-based leadership roles.

Collins earned certification as a Real Property Law Specialist from the Minnesota State Bar. That certification informs much of his work. He handles property-related disputes, title matters and conveyancing, and he draws on that credential when advising clients and assessing cases.

His professional life runs alongside an active record of civic engagement. He has held leadership posts in the Rotary Club of Forest Lake, serving as president for the 2002–2003 term and again for 2010–2011. Between 2009 and 2011 he served as a director of the Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau. He spent 2009–2010 as vice president of the Me2U Chapter of BNI. Since 2011 he has been a director of Parmly LifePointes. He also remains a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association.

Colleagues describe Collins as steady and pragmatic in approach. He favors careful preparation over flashy courtroom tactics. Clients and peers say he prioritizes clear communication and predictable steps. He is known for parsing complex property documents and for attention to procedural detail in litigation before state and federal tribunals.

Over the years Collins has balanced private practice with civic obligations. His board work on health and youth-service organizations reflects an interest in local institutions. The Rotary leadership stints underscore a longer-term engagement in community networking and volunteer projects. Those activities have kept him connected to local legal and business circles beyond his casework.

As a lawyer admitted in Minnesota and to practice before the Eighth Circuit, Collins has built a practice shaped by real property law and related civil matters. He continues to practice in Minnesota and before the Eighth Circuit, concentrating on real property matters.
