About Robert

Robert Englert built his career at the intersection of practice and teaching. He studied psychology and crime, law and justice as an undergraduate at Pennsylvania State University, University Park, and went on to earn a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Those early academic choices shaped an approach that blends practical courtroom work with attention to how law affects people and institutions.

After law school, Englert moved between practice and academic roles. He served as a Lecturer in Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2009, returning to the law school as an Adjunct Professor of Law in 2015. Those teaching appointments kept him close to legal scholarship and to successive classes of students. They also kept him connected to developments in litigation and procedure.

In private practice, Englert took on managerial responsibilities early. In 2011 he became Managing Lawyer at RFE LAW FIRM, LLC, a role that involved overseeing day-to-day operations and supervising other lawyers. His work in that capacity has included trial preparation, client counseling and case management across multiple jurisdictions.

Englert is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has maintained offices in Philadelphia, the Delaware Valley and Central Pennsylvania, allowing him to handle matters that arise across the region. His record includes courtroom appearances and filings in state and federal matters that touch on civil litigation and regulatory disputes. He has experience advising clients on procedural strategy and on the practical consequences of litigation choices.

Colleagues and students have encountered an attorney who balances courtroom advocacy with an educator’s attention to detail. In classroom settings he has taught courses that reflect the day-to-day realities of practicing law. In practice he has handled client matters that require careful case-building, attention to evidence and management of litigation timelines.

Today Englert continues to split his time between client work and the occasional academic engagement. He maintains an active practice through RFE LAW FIRM, LLC and manages matters out of his Philadelphia, Delaware Valley and Central Pennsylvania offices. His current practice focuses on civil litigation and related procedural work.
