About Robert D. Pascoe
Robert D. Pascoe Jr. earned his J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2008. He completed law school after earlier studies and moved into a series of roles that exposed him to both public-interest work and private practice.
Early in his career he worked as an associate at Hirst Applegate after graduating in 2008. He then served as Student Director of the University of Wyoming College of Law Defender Aide Program in 2007 while still in school, a role that gave him direct experience with court practice and client advocacy. That mix of litigation exposure and practical training informed his next moves.
Pascoe shifted between nonprofit, corporate, and private-practice roles over the next decade. In 2011 he took a position as Policy Director at Access Fund, where he engaged with advocacy and organizational policy. Two years later he joined Deal Energy Resources as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, a post that involved in-house legal work for an energy business. He returned to private practice in 2016 as a sole practitioner under the name Robert D Pascoe, Lawyer at Law.
In 2017 he worked at Modern Family Law as an associate lawyer, gaining experience in family law matters. By 2019 he founded Pascoe Law LLC and remains the owner. His résumé shows a willingness to move between different legal settings: nonprofits, corporate counsel work, small firm practice and solo practice. Those shifts reflect a career built around varied legal functions rather than a single-track specialization.
Colorado is the jurisdiction listed for his practice. Over the years he has combined courtroom work, in-house counsel responsibilities and policy-driven advocacy. He has experience representing clients in family law contexts and has handled matters tied to business and organizational operations during his time in corporate counsel roles.
Colleagues and former supervisors would point to a career that is steady and pragmatic. He has taken on roles that require both client-facing advocacy and behind-the-scenes legal management. Today he works out of Pascoe Law LLC in Colorado, where his practice focuses on family law and related civil matters.
